Mustad Open-up pad

This hospital pad is made from a hi-tech material and has a cap (to enable cleaning and medication of the wound) that can be fixed and removed with the special key provided.
The pad is specially large, so you can position the hole over the region to treat. It is positioned between the hoof and the horse shoe so that it is held by the nails.
The nail holes through the pad can either be drilled or melted using a heated nail. A self adhesive rubber foam piece (provided in the kit) is fixed at the hind of the pad between pad and hoof to keep dirt away from the sole.
