shoeing
technique where the toe part of the front hoof is shortened, making the
hoof wall thinner at the toe. When using this style of shoeing the shoe
design requires an extra width of metal at the toe. The main objective of
this style of shoeing technique is to improve break over. The Mustad SM
shoe is particularly suited to shoeing the Swedish Warmblood horse.
The SM shoe has symmetrical left and right branches with flush formed clips.
Front and hind shoes have a single toe clip. The branches of both the front
and hind shapes have been formed inwards for easy adjustment.
The Mustad SM shoe is available in different sections from size 6x0 to size
